It’s raw performance

Giving pilots that extra edge, the EJ200 is installed in the incredible Eurofighter Typhoon, the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft

Operational Typhoon in full swing

The Typhoon delivers an enviable level of flexibility and efficiency, possessing adequate weapon availability and sufficient processing power to simultaneously support missile in-flight updates and bomb in-flight targeting – True swing-role capability

Protector of the skies

The Eurofighter Typhoon is protecting the skies in Europe, the Middle East and even in the Southern hemisphere, on Quick Reaction Alert duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Eurofighter Typhoon

From the outset the EJ200 was intended to be the engine of the Eurofighter Typhoon programme. The aircraft demonstrates the power of the EJ200 engines installed in the platform. Take a closer look at the performance of the Typhoon.

Built on the strength
of four nations

Like the EJ200, the Eurofighter programme is also a consortium that has been built on the strength of the same four nations: UK; Germany; Italy and Spain – and correspondingly their leading aerospace and defence companies: BAE Systems, Airbus Group and Leonardo – Aircraft Division. These three are shareholders in a joint holding company for the management of the project, Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH (Eurofighter).
Eurofighter is responsible for coordinating the design, production and upgrade of the Typhoon aircraft. The two companies, Eurofighter and EUROJET, work together in a partnership designed to bring the very best to the aircraft, its engine and its weapons systems. The entire project is managed by the NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency (NETMA), which also acts as the prime customer and the contact interface for the customers, governments and the industry partner companies.
